When is a satellite tracker better than using an app?
Satellite trackers are preferable for remote adventures or remote flights as you are not reliant on cellular signal. They do however involve costly monthly subscriptions and a dedicated device.
Who is able to view my live tracking?
A secure unique link is created each time you want to share your track which you then share with whomever you choose. No one else is able to view the track.
How safe is my uploaded data?
Your uploaded track is only visible for 7 days until it is automatically deleted from the server. Only you have control of who can view your data.
Do I have to share my live track?
Not at all, you can also use the app solely as an activity tracker.
What does the app cost?
Currently the app is free but there may be a future nominal charge to cover the cost of maps and hosting.
